Professional Scrum Product Owner – AI Essentials (PSPO-AIE) is a practical course for Product Owners, Product Managers, business analysts, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and product leaders who want to understand how AI can support product work.
The course focuses on the everyday work of Product Ownership: exploring opportunities, understanding users and stakeholders, preparing decisions, validating ideas, managing complexity, and improving how value is delivered. You will learn how AI can support product discovery, Product Backlog refinement, experimentation, stakeholder collaboration, and decision-making without losing sight of accountability, ethics, and evidence.
Across one focused day, you will work with practical examples and exercises that connect AI to Scrum and product development. The goal is to move beyond generic AI conversations and understand how AI can be used with more clarity in the work of a Product Owner.
This course also prepares you for the Scrum.org Professional Scrum Product Owner – AI Essentials assessment. You will leave with a better understanding of AI in product work, stronger questions to ask, and concrete ways to apply AI responsibly in your own context.

Practical information
For online classes, we use Zoom for the live sessions and Miro for exercises, collaboration, and group work. Cancellation and refund
Refunds are available on request up to 20 days before the course, with the right to deduct any incurred fees or costs. After that, refunds or transfers to another course date are not possible; however, you may nominate another person to attend in your place, provided you notify us by email before the course starts. If the class is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund, but no compensation for any other losses.
Certification
This is an official Scrum.org course. All participants who complete the Professional Scrum Product Owner - AI Essentials course will receive a password for the PSPO-AI Essentials assessment. The assessment consists of 40 multiple choice questions that must be completed in 60 minutes. To earn the industry-recognized PSPO-AI Essentials certification, a score of at least 85% is required. Those who take the PSPO-AI Essentials assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not achieve the required score are eligible for one additional attempt at no extra cost.
