Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced

Professional Scrum Product Owner – Advanced (PSPO-A) is a two-day course for experienced Product Owners and product professionals who want to strengthen how they lead product work in complex environments.

The class explores the different stances a Product Owner may need when working with customers, stakeholders, Scrum Teams, and organizational leaders. You will examine how product vision, strategy, Product Goals, experimentation, evidence, and stakeholder collaboration support better decisions and stronger product outcomes.

Through case studies, discussion, and practical exercises, you will practise moving between strategic and operational concerns. The course develops your ability to understand customer needs, test assumptions, communicate direction, influence without relying on authority, and make decisions when information is incomplete or interests compete.

The course also prepares you for the Scrum.org PSPO II assessment. You will leave with a deeper understanding of advanced Product Ownership and practical ways to improve product strategy, stakeholder engagement, experimentation, and value delivery in your organization.
